Coach Cassaw
With over two decades leading the La Costa Canyon High School boys basketball program, Coach Cassaw has built a legacy grounded in development, discipline, and a deep commitment to his players.
Since taking over as head coach in 1999, Cassaw has led LCC to over 480 wins, six league titles, four San Diego CIF championships, and a SoCal Regional Championship. His program has consistently competed with the best in the state, shaping not only great athletes but high-character young men.
What sets Coach Cassaw apart is not just his resume—but his ability to connect with players, push them to reach their potential, and create true team culture.
Now, through MVRK Basketball, Coach Cassaw brings that same elite approach to club-level development—focused on preparing high school players to compete at the next level. Whether you’re looking to earn a varsity roster spot, sharpen your skills in the offseason, or grow as a leader on and off the court, MVRK provides a high-intensity, high-accountability environment with a coach who has been there, done that, and still lives for the game.
Based in Carlsbad and Encinitas, MVRK Basketball is your opportunity to train under one of the best—and be part of something bigger than just basketball.
